I’ve been a hunter for about as long as I can remember. My dad used to take me out into the woods where we would hunt deer and elk. I learned all about tracking and finding animals until I had my first kill when I was ten. Since then, I’ve been hooked. Today I’m going to talk to you about the most important piece of equipment a hunter can own: his rifle. While good hunting technique will help ensure that you bag your next deer, without the right gun you won’t be able to do much of anything out in the field. Gamo is another great brand for hunting equipment and rifles, and the Silent Cat utilizes the best part of air rifles (less noise) to make this a formidable hunting weapon.

What makes this gun different from other models is that it uses Gamo’s proprietary Inert Gas Technology (IGT) to make firing smoother and reloading much quicker. Whether you’re just target shooting or going after little critters, the Silent Cat is the perfect blend of speed, silence, and power.

This rifle fires .177 caliber alloy pellets at a speed of 1300 feet per second. While this isn’t as fast as the Winchester, it’s still capable of taking out small animals with ease. You can also fire .22 caliber pellets if you’re looking to do more damage.

For stability, the gun comes with a thumbhole grip so you can track your target better and ensure a proper shot each time.

The Silent Cat earns its name with a built-in sound suppressor that reduces noise so much it’s almost like a whisper. It also comes with a 3-9x40 zoom optical scope for better accuracy and precision.

Hunting has been around since the dawn of time. Having transformed from a vital means of survival to a sporting activity, people have long debated both sides of the issue. While some view hunting as a righteous action, others despise the deed. The argument for hunting as an admirable or distasteful act is still relevant to present society.
