Family studies = Dr. Joseph Biederman and his colleagues have studied families of children with ADHD. (1)
Adoption Studies = Dr. Dennis Cantwell compared adopted children with ADHD to there adoptive parents and biological. (2)
Twin studies = another way of studying is studying non and identical twins. Identical twins have same genetic info but non identical do not. (3)
Exposure to Toxic Substances as a Cause of ADHD
Mothers who smoke or use tobacco or alcohol during pregnancy have a risk of devolving learning problems with their child.
