Civilization entails reorganizing the human society besides transforming social development into what the present people refers to as the most advanced stage. Different nations use several parameters to differentiate levels of civilization into various degrees. Parameters include food, national security, infrastructure, religion, and economic status of a country, education systems, and cultural practices. Therefore, the spread of civilization is differentiated across nations based on the ease of accessibility and availability of the parameters mentioned above. Geographical location of society, its age, and population played a central role in determining ways through which civilizations spread their influences (Greenblatt 43). Significantly, there are ways in which culture differed among communities due to disparities that bedeviled societal constructs. This paper focuses on techniques applied in the spread of civilization and demonstrates how cultural and social parameters influenced the spread of civilization among different communities.

They constructed roads to ease communication between territories that were far apart. This also made communication faster and easier. The Roman Empire used established communication frameworks to transport their military easier. Romans also ensured that Latin was used in all their territories. All the ‘Romance Languages’ are offshoots of Latin, the Roman language. They are French, Spanish, Catalan, Portuguese, Italian, and Romanian. A similar language eased communication; hence, it was easy for Rome to flex its muscles in all the
