The presentations ten proposed ways of running society would essential eliminate the Outer Party, making individuality a less common occurrence for future utopian leaders. Throughout the presentation I use quotes from an imaginary leader of the Institute of Future Utopian Leaders (IFUL), the imaginary institute where this seminar is taking place. George Lang is the man’s name and his quotes are propaganda, telling students that “Together We are a stronger and happier people.” This was used to drive the point home that this seminar would be exploring the control many leaders have over their citizens, even the students of the seminar. The police or government agents are an important part of controlling your citizens behavior, they add physical intimidation that will reinforce that citizens must act normally. In most films about utopian societies these enforcers would normally be apart of the outer party, which must be dismantled in order to retain complete control over the citizens. I suggest that citizens shouldn’t be apart of the police force or government agency, instead the leaders should be using robots or something that they can easily control. The fourth tip talks about watching over your citizens, using cameras that would be placed in advantages positions. It’s sort of an extension of the third tip, but the police force cannot watch every citizen 24/7. I suggest that robots should be watching the cameras to catch citizens in the act of individuality or at least see any early signs of antisocial or individual
