Inclusion is defined by Webster’s dictionary as the act of including. Inclusion means placing students with disabilities in general education settings. The opportunity for creativity to take form when there is a mixture of students with a variety of learning styles can lead to naturally and consistently manner. Kim Edelmann, a collaborative team teacher, states that “schools should have an organized plan for selecting students for this class. There are so many benefits for students enrolled in an inclusion class”. Inclusion is an influential tool, not only for students but for the parents of the students, and teachers. In the words of Audre Lorde “it is not our differences that divide us. It is our inability to recognize, accept, and celebrate those differences”. Inclusion teaches a sense of belonging, as well as acceptance not just
