Why should we pretend to take over the teachers’ role in the classroom?’(E Butcher 2014) Butcher explains the different between facilitating a workshop and teaching as a teacher in a classroom. Regarding this point the different between teaching in a classroom and facilitating a workshop is ‘Young people get the opportunity to work with adult professionals in a peer environment. These adults can sometimes serve as more positive teachers and role models who work with and support the young person on their path to adulthood. Youth Theatre benefits young people by providing them with different types of adult role models and, by treating them as equals encourages them to accept the responsibilities of Adulthood’ (Emer Kelly 2014) Emer Kelly 2014 explores the benefits of youth theatre within healthy relationships and here explains the positive values of relationships which change behaviour due to the associations of adults to young people guiding young people through emotional changes to promote responsibility and creative thinking to develop mature young …show more content…
Therefore this essay has recognised the importance of the aim, objective and reflection of each exercise that is set for the workshop and the recognition of the main goal and how this is achievable for the group. I have indentified throughout this essay how Behaviour management techniques I have witnessed I have further explored to understand and how to be able to achieve a Safe place but also rules and regulations within a youth theatre
