Children become bored if a teacher talks continuously for more than 3-5 minutes.
It was Abraham Maslow who once said ‘children have the right to learn’ in 1943. I strongly support Abraham Maslow since children are the basket of the future. Since they are our future, it is wise that we pass on our knowledge and experiences of the past unto them. Educating of the young’s at an effective and efficient rate is also important since delivery of concept determines whether a country’s economy grows or declines. They would not find the lesson or school fun or interesting. It is said that children strive for excellence and work hard through great teaching and learning method. At the same time teaching and learning method does not involve talking alone, it involve doing things and having children to participate in classroom activities.
• Lesson should not be teacher centered
In today society children are used to being entertained. They enjoy watching television, playing video game and using the computer or internet. Children are keen listeners and they hear every wrong thing a teacher say, teachers can also correct children wrong idea without trying to embarrass them or make them feel bad for children take things the wrong way, but it all depend on the way the teacher say it and the tone of voice the teacher use. It is also best when teacher correct mistake in front of the class so that the whole class will learn from it.
• Allow students to ask questions and release their opinions since the greatest room is room for improvement.
Teacher should allow children to ask questions and voice their opinion and concern so that they will know where they are going wrong and try to improve. A teacher should always make it their duty to make sure at the end of the day the children learn something. Some children make not always be in the classroom to learn so it is the teacher duty to make sure that they do their work and leave with the knowledge that has been
