Crimes committed by humans leads to the violation of human dignity with the offender not treating the victim as a human instead treating the human being like an object overlooking and dismissing the dignity of the human being. Using capital punishment as a form of retribution only inflicts suffering, torture and distress. Capital punishment is an unlawful decision which only dehumanises its victims. It is important that if a penalty is applied for the unlawful act it is essential that the punishment is not dehumanising making sure it dose not ignore the fundamental of human dignity that every person obtains. It is imperative to come to terms with the inviolability of life no matter how bad the crime committed is by the offender it is essential to take justify that the offender holds human dignity and it must not be ignored because it demoralises human dignity which is an innate characteristic which is given to every human being. Punishment should be used if necessary to communicate to the offender of the crime that what they did was wrong in order to teach a lesson. Even though punishment upsets and injures the offender it should not have a long lasting effect it should not lead to capital punishment because it only violates the human rights and dignity of the human being. Conley proclaiming that any form of capital punishment is immoral overlooking the human form. Inherent dignity focuses on the equal value and worth of every human being indicating that every human being has innate inherent dignity which was inherited since the day of birth and remains till the time of death. Every human being should be aware that every human being posses inherent dignity being apart of the human species belonging to the human family. Every human being should live a life that respects human inherent dignity coming to terms with the morality of human rights. The inherent dignity of a human being is everlasting and never ending. Conley pointing out that any form of capital punishment is corrupt and impure which strays away from humanity itself creating a false idea that leads human beings to believe that inherent dignity no longer exists. No matter how bad the crime committed by the offender is using capital punishment is never the answer because it is a shameful inhuman act which neglects humanity and the human beings inherent dignity.
