Introduction
Over the course of a semester I will have the opportunity, to sit in a inclusion classroom. During this time, I will be working with a student, and could observe a teacher and the methods that they use to work with the student. Besides observing the teacher working with the student I will also have the chance to sit in a IEP (Individualize Educational Plan) meeting. During this meeting, I will have the chance to gain more knowledge of who are involved in an IEP meeting what’s spoken about and how the plan is developed. Understanding the process of the IEP and how it helps not only the child but also the parent will be great preparation of my career.
