. I was a member of the First Year Involvement Program at ISU my freshman year, which helps first year students assimilate to college life by being active through many different events. I was selected to be an Emissary for the College of Education for the 2015-2016 school year. The Emissary program is designed to help first year students and I will be mentoring a select group of students and provide any support they need in their academic journey. I joined the P.E. Departments student club at Idaho State known as S.H.E.P.E.R.D’s in the spring of 2015, and I served as the club’s Secretary for the spring of 2015, Vice President for the fall of 2015, and I became club president in the spring of 2016 and currently hold the position. I am also the FYT Mentor for the College of Education for the 2016-2017 academic year. I have volunteered throughout my time at ISU and have approximately 80 hours of service. These hours have been acquired through a multitude of events at Idaho State such as National Girls and Women in Sports Day and the Bengal Triathlon. I have also served the community of Pocatello with the Portneuf Medical Center and Quail Ridge Assisted
