I will tell you that there are different types of attorneys there are civil attorneys that work civil cases but civil cases rarely go to court where an attorney is needed, then you have trial attorneys that go to trial for murder cases among other charges. There are two types of trial attorneys one is a prosecuting attorney that is hired by the state to fight the defendant and the other is a defense attorney that is their to defend the defendant (Lawyers). As an attorney it is our job to find the truth about what has happened. I firmly believe that it is our job to find the truth and bring the justice that our client deserves weather that be a guilt or not guilty verdict. You will most likely be at the office doing paper work, looking over cases, and doing that of regular office work. Now say you are a prosecuting attorney you would get to investigate the crime scene get to say who the culprit is. you will also be running around the courthouse like a madman and trying to find witnesses, getting testimonies from them gathering evidence to use against the defense and even calling the police at the crime scene seeing if they have any new evidence, you will also need to present why you think that the accused did this act of crime.
