The product we chose to construct a marketing campaign for is the Hydro Flask Wide Mouth bottle. Ever since Hydro Flask bottles have hit the market, they have become extremely popular to a widespread demographic. As a group, we thought it would be interesting to evaluate the consumer appeal, enviormental factors, and ethical topics that make this product culturally relevant in today’s society.

The specific product we have chosen to market is the Hydro Flask Wide Mouth bottle. This product is available in two different sizes: 18 ounces and 32 ounces, allowing customers to choose which bottle best fits their daily needs. The bottle is TempShield™ protected, and made from 18/8 Pro Grade Stainless Steel. In addition, the product is BPA-free, and coated with a sweat-free powder coat finish.

Hydro Flask’s main competition is a similar company called Klean Kanteen. Klean Kanteen, exactly like Hydro Flask, provides a durable, double wall vacuum sealed flask that can keep liquids both hot and cold for multiple hours. When compared side by side, Hydro Flask clearly beats out Klean Kanteen in both durability and leakage. Hydro Flask’s lids screw on easier and tighter than Klean Kanteen’s, ensuring a more effective seal. Furthermore, when tested in extreme conditions, the Hydro Flask kept its liquid contents warmer for a longer period of time than Klean Kanteen. These factors help contribute to Hydro Flask being a more popular product throughout the country, helping it create a higher revenue than its
