Hurricane Irma has been one of the stronger storms ever measured in the Atlantic and has caused catastrophic damage for the state of Florida. With damaging winds and large storm surge Irma destroyed homes and infrastructure. Irma made landfall in southern Florida as a dangerous major hurricane, it put us in the worst situation. Mandatory evacuations were issued for 7 million people in many counties in South of Florida, like Monroe, some parts of Miami Dade and Broward; but some people didn’t leave their houses and it brought consequences. Irma left devastated countries, killed at least 35 people in Caribbean islands such as Barbuda and 5 in Florida. It left hundreds of thousands of costumer without power. We had raining of 15 inches. In some boards of the state the damaged was horrible. The hurricane sucked water away from beaches, leaving all the sand over the road, blocking the pass. We have no trees in all the sate. The people’s reaction when they seem the result of Irma was really sad. It is looks like a warm. In the Monroe County the storm left an estimated of ten thousand people homeless. Too many people have no water, no power, no food, not even a place where stay, this is really serious. This was devastating, I don’t even know what it was. I just know that we are strong, and we going to be better. All the organizations of the country are helping us to pass this. We are getting food, water, ice, household supplies, medicines, money, baby needs, fuel, hygiene products and shelters. The Federal Organizations are doing the reports of the damage to recover it as fast as it is possible. The neighbors are bringing support and help to their fellows, cleaning and offering their houses to that ones that lost
