It is not a quality outcome when someone could have an ambiguous irregularity in their body and it takes several weeks to conclude what this is (Harvard Business Review, 2011). This is because the test results are bouncing between different medical professionals (cardiologists, oncologists, etc...) (Harvard Business Review, 2011). With a team present, they can look at the results together and determine what the issue is in much less time (Harvard Business Review, 2011). This is why it is critical to have a team mentality. As the Bible states, this is far more effective; “Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their toil” (Ecclesiastes 4:9). I believe every hospital should have a direct team available in case an abnormality happens. And if they have this, they can ensure better patient outcomes.
