On September 25, 2015, I had an appointment set up with an academic advisor at the Heavener School of Business in 333 Heavener. In further detail, my advising appointment was at 1:30pm and with Leigh Smadbeck. Furthermore, the key points I wanted to discuss with my advisor were to map out my four year academic plan, consider what type of minors I should pursue, acquire additional information about the Masters of International Business program, and attain how the study abroad programs may be beneficial toward my academic career.

In relation to my academic and professional plan, she pulled up a document on her computer and started to fill out what general education and universal tracking courses I have already completed. Then, she started to ask me what classes I would be interested in registering for my spring 2016 semester and when I was planning on taking my summer semester. Subsequently, I informed her that I would like to take an additional summer semester during the 2016 summer C semester since I would still be in Gainesville due to my leasing contract. Also, I informed her that I would like to wrap up my general educational courses and begin my universal tracking courses in the upcoming spring semester. She advised me on what classes would be the easiest to take, such as CGS2531 over ISM3013, and how I can fill both my writing requirement and a universal tracking course with one class, GEB3213.
