Also, when raising the minimum wage, employers will want to hire someone who’s really good at what they’re doing in order to afford their wage and eliminate the number of people who are working for them. Third, most minimum wage workers are in real need of the job and do not have a degree or other choice except this job, so raising the wage will make it harder for them to get the job they’re in need for. Lastly, increasing the minimum wage will make workers not do their best at the job in order to get promoted.
