Have you ever thought about raising the minimum wage? Every now and then there’s a debate about whether they should raise the minimum wage or not. Many people say it should and many people say it shouldn’t. People Struggle through working 9-5 for a low wage job and many people can’t even get a job. Families from different countries come to the United States to achieve the American Dream. The United States is the land of freedom and opportunities. I think they should raise the minimum wage because it would help the economy, help increases workers income, help the poor and the struggling families. The federal minimum wage has been $7.25 an hour since 2009 and now it has risen to $10:00 an hour. There are Families struggling …show more content…

Workers will have to show their commitment and hard work. Now a day’s school cost is so expensive that students have to work two jobs to pay it off. Students cannot better themselves if their parents cannot pay for their children education. Some children have to rely on themselves to pay for college. Minimum wage job can’t afford their college tuition. The Minimum wage would raise the wages of many workers and increase benefits what disadvantaged workers. Students won’t have to worry about money if the minimum wage is raised, their stress will go away and will be satisfied off what the raise has to offer. Overall the minimum wage would help a lot of people and struggling families. It’s almost impossible to raise a family on a minimum wage job. Minimum wage is a problem all around the world They would be happier at their jobs and also, they would have to work twice as hard as they were previously.
