How To Pack A Baseball Glove Essay

1. What will you pack from your 4 years of high school that you will take with you to college? These should be the most essential items because you can not take all of your experiences and learning moments. Explain why for each item you identify.
Baseball Glove. This is essentially going with me for two extremely different but inspiring reasons. When I think about a baseball glove, I first think about my past how from much I have loved the game of baseball and worked towards achieving my dreams of playing baseball at the highest level I could push myself to play. I feel blessed to be able to play the game I love for as long as I have and for every day I will be able to play. The second thought that runs through my mind is the future that is has helped me create. I am glad to be able to pack the glove and know I will be able to continue my career in the one true love in my life. Even if I had to pack a bag to live on the road, I would bring a glove with me anywhere. Yoga Mat.

This is another item that has a double meaning. First being that yoga itself has taken my baseball career and my body in general in a different direction than where it was going. I have been able to sleep, walk and move in general so much better than before just from simply taking one hour a day or so to just spend time on the one body you get. The second being that I spend a lot of time meditating on many thoughts and situations in my life. I believe that mediation gives you the needed time to process everything that is going on in your life both good and bad teaches you to focus on the positive inspiring thoughts. I started meditating when someone told me that everything you feel is perceived on how you think about things and I saw that as a meaning that I should learn how to change the way I thought about the obstacles in my life. This has help me through my issues in my family, school, baseball and relationships. 7 Pounds The Movie. I saw this freshman year and I bring this to college because it gives a great perspective on life that I really ponder. The movie essentially has a man who makes decisions in his life such as texting and driving and giving his heart to a dying woman that drastically change the lives of people around him. I try very hard to think about my decisions and how they affected the people around me because fate is a outer concept when you can make the right decisions to prevent bad consequences. I also love this movie because it does give the positive side of your decisions where your actions can change the lives of people for the better by simple acts of kindness. A Heavy Heart. This one may have to be abstract but I feel it is the best way to describe it. High school has been a ton of for me with baseball, friends and school itself as well. I love learning in general so I find school boring very little of the time and so being in school never bothered me. Even when I transferred I still being enjoyed in the the classroom and the college prep school set me in the right direction for my future. I take a heavy heart because even though I am excited for college, so much of me wants to be at the bus stop the first day of my freshman year. I love high school because I learned early that the more you care about the people who judge you on your friend groups, interests and passions, the less you will accomplish. I have asked a lot of people what their favorite memory of their life is and most of them tell me one of them in high school because it was the most innocent memory they have. I have loved my teenage years even though they are not over yet because I have matured quicker than I have expected due to my experiences who have shape me into the go getter I am. 2.
