The pigs were above all the other animals, same as how Trotsky and Stalin were leaders and above the others. They caused a tyranny every time they wanted to do something. The pigs had to change the commandments every time they wanted to try something new. They maltreated their power and also treated the others around them badly. The commandments stated that all humans are bad and that animals should not do anything that a human does. The animals had a song to help them look forward, the song was known as “The Beast of England.” This song was eventually abolished and any animal that sang the song would be considered a traitor or trying to rebel against the pigs now. The animals had many confinements that they had to go by. If any animal had a cynical remark they would get degraded by the pigs and punished. The pigs said that the hens could keep their eggs, but once the farm needed money they were perfectly okay to infanticide them.
