How Does Distraction Affect Students

Distractions causing more distractions Giving students an F who grow up in a home where grades do not matter, are not going to be motivated to pass school. A teacher must motivate the student in a different way. There are too many distractions students have that keep them away from making good grades. One distraction could easily lead to another. For example, having divorced parents. When parents get a divorce, it could affect one in a positive or negative way; it affects most people in a negative way. When parents separate, it is hard not knowing whose side to be on; it can also be stressful not seeing that parent as much. Unfortunately, this causes stress to build up; stress causes lack of sleep. Lack of sleep is another distraction, falling asleep in class may not be the best thing to do if one is wanting to keep their grades up; therefore, the person may decide to start taking pills to help them pay attention in class. Growing up in a bad home where there is drugs, abuse, or moving all the time affects people in some terrible sad ways. Growing up in an abusive home affected me in many ways. My parents never encouraged me to go to college or make good grades. The drugs affected me in a negative and positive way. The negative way drugs affected me would had been because, we were always moving to get away from the police, or drug dealers they did not pay back. Another negative way was that, we never had enough money, because it was all spent on drugs.
