When Mrs. Leen was asked about what were her goals for all her students, she passionately replied “to help them love school, to help them love learning, because learning is not just the books and reading, learning is everything that happens in a school, so to help them learn to love to learn”. Personally, when I began to think of teaching as a future career, I kept thinking to myself that my goal would be to help children learn new material, and to make them feel comfortable enough to make mistakes and learn from them.
