Japanese food influenced American food greatly. For example, america took sushi and put their twist on it. America made Japanese restaurants cute and chic. America's diet is more meaty than Japan. Japan's diet is more fishy than America. In america we also consume a lot of dairy products. Cause of the nutrients and the calories that we in america we have a greater chance of getting diabetes, heart disease, cancer, and e.t.c. In Japan they eat twice as more fish we do in America but the they also eat fast food at times too. Japan’s food is healthier than america’s because there food is small portions. They also eat vegetables and fruit with their meals also. But some of their food is high in salt and sugar too. America and Japan have similarities to when it comes to their diets.
