African Americans Revolt on Slavery In 1619, African Americans were forcibly brought to Jamestown, Virginia. They were brought as slaves, where they had harsh labors and they were treated with violence. In 1830, the president of United States of America had declared for Indian Removal Act, which he wanted the Indians to move to reserved lands to the west of Mississippi River. Then there was the Treaty of Tears that followed, where Native Americans were in their depression of leaving their land. However, African Americans decided to go against the white.
