Horizontal Segregation
A man and woman who work in the same facility but work is divided into separate departments which in turn causes injustice. An example of Horizontal Segregation: Sears employees were divided by gender men worked in the appliance department gaining commission while women were working in household items and clothing departments gaining no commission making the minimal pay.
