Southeastern Honda - 2016 Honda CR-V: # Things You Should Know
In the past few years, the compact crossover SUV has gained significantly in popularity, with the 2016 Honda CR-V leading the pack. With seating for up to five and one of the largest cargo areas in its class, the CR-V has a lot to offer. Whether you are just getting started with your family or eagerly anticipating the time when the last "chick" has left the nest, the CR-V makes an excellent choice. Here are XXX things you should know about this amazing crossover SUV from Honda.
It's Definitely Bigger on the Inside

The CR-V offers a class-leading 37.2 cubic feet of storage space with the rear seats in the upright position. If this is not enough, this space increases to an amazing 70.9 cubic feet when you fold the rear seats flat. The best part is that the levers used to release the seatbacks can be easily accessed from the cargo space.
Power to Spare
Under the hood of the 2016, Honda CR-V sits a 2.4-liter direct injected four-cylinder powerhouse that is rated at 185 horsepower. This little powerhouse comfortably produces 181 pound-feet of torque, which is more than enough to provide outstanding acceleration from a dead stop or to hit the passing lane. The CR-V comes with a Honda CVT (continuously variable transmission) that acts in much the same way as a standard automatic transmission with silky smooth shifting and exceptional holding power.
Superior Fuel Economy
If having plenty of power at your fingertips is not enough, consider the fact that so many other compact SUVs come up short in the fuel economy department. The 2016 Honda CR-V with its potent 2.5L engine, front-wheel drive, and CRV offers top of its class EPA fuel economy ratings of 27 city/ 34 highway miles per gallon for FWD versions and 36 city/ 33 highway mpg for AWD

As said best by a car salesman in “Swollen Expectations,” “For a lot of people, an SUV is a status symbol... So they’re willing to pay the thirty-to forty-odd thousand dollars to drive one of these vehicles.” My mom disagrees with this statement as she says that for our family, a SUV provides more space transporting both ourselves and items for holidays.
