‘I AM WORTH IT’ is a social group I would like to create, whose mission would be to help individual homeless people jump over their adversities and start living a life that is humane and worth living. This group would consist of volunteers who want to make a positive impact on other people’s lives, while at the same time making a memorable, changing experience in their own life. ‘I AM WORTH IT’ would focus on many different aspects that will touch as many parts of the homelessness problem as possible. In order to achieve this, we would have constant communication between the members of the group, as well as implementing weekly meetings to discuss different methods of creating a better life environment for the less fortunate; and most importantly, going out to put the methods in practice, to make the real change happen as effectively as …show more content…
Although only a few examples of events were presented, the goal of the project is to continually make innovative programs that will dramatically change everyone’s lives in a positive way. We would like to change at least a couple hundred people’s lives out of the thousands that currently live in a homeless situation, by introducing them to existing government and non-profit organization programs, as well as by the programs that we would continually offer. To completely fulfill our mission, we would like to make every person involved in our program, whether volunteers or homeless individuals, believe and repeatedly remind themselves that, ‘I AM WORTH
