People often refer to Jones’s potent concoction as “Kool-Aid,” although Jones actually used the flavoring named “Flavor Aid.” If someone is to be described by “drinking the Kool-Aid” it means that they are faithful to a group that holds an uncontested opinion or philosophy without critically examining it first.
