The Druze Religion/faith was founded in small communities in Lebanon, Syria, Israel and Jordan, and is rooted in Ismailism, another branch of Shia Islam.
The name of the religion/faith came from the name Muhammad Bin Ismail Nashtakin ad-Darazī who was one of the early preachers even though the Druze consider him as a Heretic, this is the name used to Identify them.
In 1860 they had a war with the Christian Maronites , which they lived with friendly till 1840, when they lost most of their Feudal and Political powers due to the Maronites.
