There was a dance show about the student choreography on March 24th, 2017 in Discovery High School. The show started from 3:30pm to 4:30pm and another show started from 6:30pm to 7:30 pm on March 24th. There were many talents dancers from Discovery High School participated in the dance show, to show off their talents and the skills that they learned in school. There were a solo, duo, and group dance. The students performed their dance on the theater stage, and they had to create a dance moves of their own.
There were a lot of good dancers, but the dancers that danced the song Doll House was one my favorites. I like how they dressed like a doll, and they made it really creepy for the audience to watch. I can only get to see those scenes from scary movie, but these dancers made me feel like I was inside the scary stage that a scary monster could pop out at any moment.

They danced with the music, and the way that they moved their bodies were so smooth. It took a lot of practice to be able to dance like that. And the way that they dressed, it reminds me of Michael Jackson and his dancers about a long time ago. Their dance moves were fabulous and it made the audiences wanted to stand up and danced with them. Their performance was really beautiful and I know that they put a lot of effort and practice to turn this show into a real disco theater.
Last but not least, the song Hallelujah, the dancers were put up a really good performance on that one. I did not expect to see the many dancers performed in the dark that well on the stage. When the light shined on them, they made it looked like they were an angels that just came down from heaven. The lights, the music, and the dancers made me feel at ease, relax, and cheerful for them. When the lights moved to another group of dancers, it turned the dancer into the angels that just descendant from

In the beginning and at the end they played some old Italian type music as the dancers moved as one person and this gave the impression of a sort of warm family vibe throughout this section. There was also an instance of an extremely loud and almost uncomfortable sound during a portion in the middle which allowed the mood of the audience to switch to disturbed or uneasy, which was simultaneously reflected in their dancing and movements on and off the main “dancing portion” of the stage. A powerful instance which occurred a couple times was when the music shut off completely and there was only the audiences breathing, and the heavy panting of the dancers that could be heard throughout the theatre. This clearly intentional choice not only made the concept intriguing, but it allowed the audience to a feel a level of connect and grounding with the dancers as well. Much of the music reflected the different colour changes on screen as it was more serene during the cloud projection, but it was fast and very loud when the screen went to red.…

The dancers demonstrated some positions that are not normally seen at the gym and it truly creative. For example, they demonstrated running by stumbling their feet as fast as they could. Additionally, the dance contained funny movements such as a dancer dragging another dancer across the stage. The most entertaining part of the performance was when two male dancers came out to the stage to lecture the female dancers on how their workout should have been done.…

This song woke me up and was very upbeat. I liked that we got to see the two assistant conductors perform since they are going to be doing this on a daily basis. They did a very good job.…

They dance crazy in love by Beyoncé. It’s crazy how they changed my perspective of Bachata with this style of the dance. I never thought that Bachata is a genre that you could dance in that way; really slow. It’s like they were adapting their dance to the type of music, no the music to them. They were sexy and sensual, also very provocative.…

What I really enjoyed was the atmosphere. The lights were dimmed so people could feel more comfortable and the music consisted of a good balance of upbeat music, and slow music. Songs were sung and people worshiped for about forty-five minutes. This was a very moving experience. Glancing into the audience, it was evident that everyone was engaged in the worship.…

The formation of dance has lived on this world for many generations as we continue to pass through history. When I went to the wonderful performance at Pierce College I experienced a whole new perspective on dancing. The concert had many types of students performing mixed dance projects of all types like solos and duets. There was an average size of one to eight dancers per project which made it the ideal size for the concert. I really enjoyed the creativity and effort put into this performance.…

This Wednesday, October 14,2015 I went to see a play called Antigone. The play was directed by Ivo Van Hove ,and it was awfully different than what I was expecting. Antigone is basically a play about a girl named Antigone played by Juliette Binoche trying to bury her brother no matter what the cause ,and her experiences that she goes through to buy her brother. This lovely performance took place at the Power Center in Ann Arbor, Michigan. There were many thing in the performance that were done very well but also there were many that I didn 't quite like.…
