Muscular men with superhuman features is the definition of a hero on google. Even though superheroes in comics can be heroes, true heroes are ones who normally aren’t recognized for their physical features, but their actions. In The Outsiders, by S.E. Hinton, Darrel Curtis is considered a hero because he raises and cares for his siblings and friends. While Zoe is a hero to her siblings, Darry is a hero due to his hospitality for his friends and family, which benefits all of the greasers. Personally, I do not think I could be as heroic as Darry or Zoe. I would not be able to keep in frustration or not be able to scold my siblings because I would feel sympathy for their problems and let them do anything.
