Later the letter began to cause problems which caused her to lose her job but thanks to her Los Angeles had their first gay right movements. The state of Los Angeles was flooded with different organization led by Harry Hay. As time continue not only was organizations growing by the day but there was a magazine for homos, but due to the fact that gay rights was not passed the magazine had to buy by the rules and that was “homosexual couldn’t be listed as a name,” so they named the magazine “ONE” this magazine was the big break for homosexuals. It was later on new stands and in stores, it put gays out there for their voices to be heard. Thanks to the magazine more organizations which became public and worldwide over the next two decades causing it to move from LA to San Francisco. The struggles for gay right went nationwide. ONE became one of LA biggest supporters for gay rights which caused them to establish a public office and also became a national publication. The activists in ONE “Dorr Legg, Don Slater, and Jim Kepner” and more were to push the gay movements hard. In 1958 the Supreme Court ruled ONEs favor to unmailable the subject about homosexuality.
