Born on March 18, 1858 to German parents he grew up in Paris until they got deported to England due to outbreak. Just like everyone else these me weren’t born geniuses, Henry started as a machinist he was later then hired as an engineer for the Edison Illuminating company and married Clara Bryant. Henry’s natural talents earned him a spot as chief engineer after trials of building Ford discovered his first vehicle he had a gas powered motor on a frame with four wheels then he wanted to go bigger.(D) As with Rudolf’s education he attended a Technical School he devoted most of his time to making an internal combustion engine. Diesel experimented firing the engine on ammonia in 1890 he convinced the idea for a diesel engine. On February 28, 1892 Rudolf patented a design for his engine. After this he printed a description or the engine under the title Theory and Construction of The Rational Heat Motor. He died on December 29, 1913 it was believed to be a suicide or a murder after he disappeared. Rudolf created the first diesel engine as we know it can burn on diesel or better more anything that ignites with pressure and heat. By 1912 there were more than 70,000 diesel engines around the world theses engines revolutionized the railroad industry. Theses engines were used in ww2 trucks and busses and now in today’s society the diesel engine males the world go around.
