Health compromising behaviors can be associated with negative or positive life experiences. As people get older they become health conscious. People relate to unhealthy habits and in order to strive for better compromising behavior, one must develop better habits. Health comprising behaviors is being able to identify risks and protective factors associated with certain behaviors a person has. Piaget: Piaget’s theory had keys and stages of cognitive development. Piaget had this view of how children's minds work. He was able to make us understand that his theory of cognitive development was about the nature and development of children intelligence. He also had insights about what happens as children move through the stages of development. Vygotsky theory explained that children think through dialogues with peers. He believe that children development was influence by cultural and social factor around them. He introduced Zone of Proximal where a child needs guidance to complete or achieve a task. He also believed that children learn by scaffolding. His theory was to give children opportunities to learn with the help of more skilled people. Multiple Intelligences - Howard Gardner
Howard Garden main idea about multiple intelligence was that there are different types of ways people learn. These multiple differences helps everyone learn the same thing. He was able to identify different types of learners. Visual people learn by seeing pictures, maps or TV. Bodily learners learn by movement. Musical learners learn by rhythm and sound. Linguistic people use words, logical mathematical use reasoning. Interpersonal learners learn by interacting with other while intrapersonal are just interested on their selves.
