Even though Hawaii was the last state added to the United States, it is the most charming state. Most people say that Hawaii is absolute paradise because of the scenery and how the Hawaiians treat the tourists. With all of the tropical plants and sea life, it is extremely different than anyone could ever imagine. Hawaii’s culture and scenery make it one of the most gorgeous places in America. From the oceans to the mountains, Hawaii’s spectacular views can have anyone daydreaming. In Hawaii, waking to the red and blue birds chirping and the oceans waves crashing on to the shore is tremendously relaxing. Looking out the window of the hotel while lying in bed, one could see crystal blue ocean crashing onto the sandy white beaches. The sand on the beaches does not feel like the beach in Panama City Beach; it does not stick to you as much and it is easier to get off. The sand is bigger grains than one might be used to. On some of the islands in Hawaii, there are black sand beaches where the sand has small black stones from the lava instead of the sand. The water is bluer and exceptionally clear on those beaches. At some points on the islands, the water has corroded parts of the island away. This corrosion causes cliffs to form. The cliffs have a black lava rock where the waves crash into them and on the top of they have variation of colors. Usually on the other side of the beach are colossal mountains that have a variety of different tropical plants and trees. The plants and trees have a variation of colors ranging from purple, blue, red, yellow, green, and orange. One of my favorite flowers that I saw on the mountain side was the yellow hibiscus. On the outside layer, it is a bright sun yellow and then it slowly changes into a bright pink color, with the anther being a mix between yellow and orange. The Hawaiian Islands have a sweet smell that recaps all the different fruit that is grown on the islands. From the natural scenery to the civilized areas, it was still immensely beautiful and different. …show more content…
As soon as my family got off the airplane, they let us outside in the Hawaiian sweet-smelling air. The airport was a building that only had a roof and no walls; it looked like a big hut with a russet grass roof. In Hawaii, most of the automobiles that were driven were either convertibles or jeeps. A lot of the guesthouses did not have air conditioning, instead they have numerous windows and gliding doors that could be left open. There are no insects in Hawaii, so there was nothing that could flutter into the guesthouses when the windows were open. The shopping centers were across from the beach. This allowed the shoppers to eavesdrop on the roaring waves crashing, and viewing the clear water and bleached sand. All of the malls are outdoor with appealing scenery of the shoreline. The shops are small size that has diverse merchandise in them, which will not be found in the states. The people that live in Hawaii seem like they do not have a care in the world, even at the hectic urban areas. The real Hawaiians are some of the loveliest people that we

America’s interest in Hawaii began in 1820, when the New England missionaries tried to spread Christianity. While the native Hawaiians were content to live in their traditional ways, America was busy building railways, hotels, and plantation and soon dominated their economy. Americans foothold in Hawaii was mainly as a result of the sugar trade. When America raised its imported sugar tariff to protect American planters from foreign competition, Hawaiian sugar became undersold in American markets. The sugar growers who were mostly white Americans were not happy about the situation and knew the only solution to this problem was to make Hawaii part of the United States.…

Know Your History The people of Hawaii tend to have a misconception of Hawaiian history. Hawaii's people understand a history of Hawaii but not the correct one because of the denationalization of our people. Denationalization is the term used in the law but it means the same thing as “brain washed” and it is the same method the Germans used in World War II.
