Well Harry Potter from J.K Rowling Harry Potter series as well as Gandalf the Grey from The Hobbit by J.R.R Tolkien are both magically talented as shown as they are famous for their wizardry and that they both do extremely hard feats of magic.
My first reason is that both are famous for their wizardry. Gandalf the gray is known all throughout middle earth for magical fireworks and other feats. This is shown when he is known in Bag end the most anti adventure place in all middle earth and riverdale far over the misty mountains where the elves welcome him as a friend. His ventures made him known world wide. Harry potter was a toddler when He who should not be named ( Lord Voldemort) destroyed his house and killed his parents. When You Know Who tried to kill him he was destroyed his essence was “ Less than the most meager ghost.” And this made Harry famous. This is shown when J.K Rowling writes “throughout the country people were meeting in secret, raising their glasses and saying ‘ to Harry

In 1997, J. K. Rowling’s first of seven books in the Harry Potter series was released. The book quickly became a best-selling phenomenon and so did it’s successors as most young adult readers found themselves hooked and simply couldn’t get enough of Harry Potter. Although the series became highly popular, it also brought wide-spread controversy with some parents and teachers who were under the impression that the book promoted the occult, witchcraft, and evil. This perception led to attempts to ban the book series from many schools and libraries. Contrarily, the Harry Potter series should not be banned because it provides lessons on moral values, promotes a healthy mind, it facilitates creativity.…

Harry on the other hand, had his turning point when he discovers the Mirror of Erised. On page 213, Dumbledore said, ‘‘It shows us nothing more or less than the deepest, most desperate desire of our hearts.”…

Harry Potter is the series’ hero and main protagonist, and he goes through the stages of the hero’s journey archetype. Harry lives in a normal world, and he goes to school just like any other kid that he knows. This is the foundation for the first step of the hero’s journey, the ordinary world. Harry Houdini didn’t want to be a typical entertainer and many people can agree that he succeeded. He had done things unthinkable at the time, breaking away from the basic, boring amusement. He gave entertainment a jolt, making it bigger, and better than ever before. Entertainment, especially magic, may not be the way it is today without him. Not only did he break away from his poor, immigrant background, but also he inspired other people to do it too.…

The utterance of Harry’s name alone is enough to cause everyone in the room to perk their ears. Before Harry could even walk his name had great power.…

A Bill of Rights would protect the rights and liberties of minorities, including non-citizens and those who are otherwise powerless (State Library of NSW 2005, p.9). As discussed previously, human rights laws in Australia can be inadequate. These minorities also frequently encounter “problems dealing with government departments and agencies” (Carrick 2010, pp. 79-84).…

Heroes typically have the characteristics of being strong and fearless. The ancient hero Gilgamesh had these ideals in the story the Epic of Gilgamesh, written in Western Asia in 2000 B.C.E. Even though these ideals are present, they are not as evident in the hero Harry Potter from J.K Rowling’s Harry Potter series written in the 21st century. However, in almost every book, no matter what the culture or time period are, the same basic themes of character traits, power and death recur.…
