First of all, Ophelia's death is related to everything and everyone. She feels all alone and feels like there is no one will be there for her. This causes Gertrude to lie to her new husband because her son Hamlet killed him. This makes Hamlet think that everyone is against him because Polonius was hidden in the curtains. Hamlet accidentally kills him because he thought it was his stepdad the new king behind them. Also this causes Laertes to get mad with rage because Hamlet killed his father and he feels like he could get payback on him. So then that ties in with Hamlet's death.
On the other hand, Hamlet dies by Laertes during a sword fight. He is dared to do a fencing duel with Laertes for revenge. Laertes puts poison on the tip of the sword so when he cuts him a little it will kill him. The reason this is a major death is because about two others die. Gertrude died by drinking the wine that was for Hamlet. Then Laertes dies by getting cut by the sword instead of Hamlet. Then that's why its such a big problem or part of the play because a lot of deaths occur in these acts.
Clearly, there is many other deaths throughout the play but these are major ones in the play that are more twisted ones. They are more meaningful to the play because they were more value to them other than the other ones.
