Have you ever made a half court shot? One day on a sad crummy morning in libertyville I had a soccer game. it was very early in the morning but i was ready to play some soccer! It was the last game of the indoor season for soccer. We were playing a team that we could never beat. My dad was the only one who came with me, to libertyville complex. When i got there i had to put on my shoes and warm up with my team. when i was warming up i heard the ref blow his whistle that meant game time. we got the ball first. i thought to myself “whatever happens, happens just give 110%.” in the first half nothing really excited happened but the score was 3-1 we were losing! i could see on my teammates face they were all really mad, i was really mad too. but then i assisted one of my teammates and then she made a beautiful top right goal. …show more content…
i had hope that we were gonna win. then we hit second quarter . we had a lot of time left but we were ready to kick some booty. my teammates and i ran off the bench and ran to are spots! one of my teammates passed the ball back to me, i saw a beautiful opening, so i thought “ why not, there is no one coming at you.” i took a half court shot! the goalie could have blocked it. but she just watched the ball go into the net. it was the best moment of my sport life. my team and i celebrated. i had never seen my dad so happy and shocked. all i could say to myself was “wow did i just make that” The second quarter ended. But the game was tied, so we had to go into overtime sadly. My team or their team couldn’t get a shot in the goal. We went into overtime 2 times and finally we had to into plenty shot.
