Habitat for Humanity was founded in Americus, Georgia, in 1976, today it operates around the globe helping to build, renovate and repair affordable houses worldwide.
Habitat for Humanity Saint Louis was started in the 1986, in which a small amount of volunteers and staff supported the entire program. The initial home buying process went from application and mortgage process to seeking funding for people and their homes. In the year of 1988, Habitat for Humanity Restore had completed their first two homes.

This program is mutually beneficial to Habitat for Humanity Saint Louis and your place of business because it combines a physical effort on the build site with a financial contribution.
Build up Team Program: Habitat for Humanity Saint Louis’s Build Up program provides NEW, first-time volunteer groups the opportunity to work on the build site while waiving the minimum donation requirement for team builds. The Build Up program provides groups that are interested in volunteering with Habitat for Humanity Saint Louis, but may not have the financial resources to join the Keystone Society or become a Buildable Hours or Builders’ Club Team, the opportunity to experience the rewards of volunteering on an Habitat for Humanity Saint Louis build site.
