A. GrIT Update –
1. The GrIT is about 70 miles out from Summit. They are hoping to arrive on Saturday.
2. The sleds have been pulling well the last couple of days, but temps are getting colder, so things are slowing down. D7 sled is starting to create a large groove.
3. Summit is prepping for GrIT arrival, but north winds are hampering efforts.
4. Science data card retrieval has been difficult. The GrIT team will try to retrieve as many as they can on the way back.
5. They are planning to drop fuel drums for Glisten and Stephen south of NEEM on the way back.
B. Other Issues
1. 2016 Traverse Workshop w/ USAP – Try to have a GrIT specific meeting. Maybe before the Traverse Workshop starts. Julie is working on this with Jen. GrIT team won’t be able to participate after the Traverse Workshop. Maybe half day on Monday, June 20th. Could push the Traverse Workshop out another day and have the GrIT workshop on June 21st. Traverse workshop is planned for June 21st – 22nd.

Transition – Looking at efficiencies/making a larger pad. CPS has requested an estimate from GC. Julie will restart this discussion.
3. Drill Shack – add to weekly agenda for how to support drilling in the future. Need to have a bigger discussion about explosives, especially if there will be a 2017 GrIT. Discuss the crevasse blasting and drill shack at the GrIT Workshop.
4. 2017 GrIT - Big items for the GrIT next year are snow melter, utilidor materials, and additional SIPs for the GH/BM. Pat would like CPS to start planning for a 2017 GrIT.
C. Next Meeting – The next meeting is scheduled for May 12th.
