Two ancient contributions that influence our lives today are the Greek architecture and the Gregorian Calendar. Two present day buildings that reflect the style of Greek architecture are the Lincoln memorial and the Jefferson memorial, The Lincoln memorial has Doric columns those are columns that are plain on top. The Jefferson has ionic columns these have scrolls (Doc. 1). The Gregorians influenced our calendar we use today by Pope Gregory during the middle ages(Doc.2).
