Gods. Goddesses. Heroes. Greek mythology first introduced all three of these 3000 years ago, in an effort to explain the world events. Today, we have many teachers considered as epic heroes. Epic heroes have many talents and abilities, including superhuman, visiting the underworld, and fighting monsters. All of these can be used as metaphors to represent many of our teachers today. Mr. Setser is an epic hero because he fights monsters, has interferences, and is a superhuman. Mr. Setser is always fighting monsters. In fact, he fights monsters everyday! When he is on his quest of teaching geometry, they always talk over him, refuse to turn in homework, and leave trash out on the tables. Whenever he gets agitated with the monsters he yells
