The movie had be at the award scene, I enjoyed the characters and the way they were dressed. The film mainly illustrates the issues of Communism in the 1950’s. Like I said similarly to what Jon Stewart did with shedding light on a current event and giving factual evidence to support his claim. Edward R. Murrow plays a big role as he begins to expose the truth about the Senator Joseph McCarthy in hopes of making a change happen to better the United States. Murrow was so determined that he went against all odds and even authority in order to bring justice and shed light on McCarthy’s wrong doings. McCarthy in the film was using his power to wrongfully accusing people of plotting against the United Sates and working with the communist party. He used his power to accuse these people without a fair trial or any legitimate evidence, going as far getting a woman fired from her job because of his false accusations. As the film progresses Murrow gives McCarthy and opportunity to hear his name however he turns the tables around and accuses Murrow of having ties with the communist party. Murrow denies all accusations leading to an investigation on McCarthy, and CBS losing their sponsors. After such a great run of the show, Murrow is satisfied with what he has done for the people and the justice he has brought so he doesn’t grief the show getting
