To begin, the size of the artwork is relatively small compared to the computer screen itself. The size of the canvas that the artist chooses to draw on is zoomed in and seems to be a decent size, but the final product is only about an inch wide. This was one of the aspects that was a disappointment at first as a visiting artist because all of the images were black and white and there were not any color variations that the artist could choose from. However, the understanding of the website was to begin one’s insight on the pixilation and what better way to introduce the glyphti than using basic colors such as black and white. Although tints or shades would have been great for a visiting artist to use in addition too black and white, it was still a great learning tool. The limitations can be helpful to an artist because there are no colors to express feelings just one’s ideas. The plain colors can be basic but learning the fundamentals at first can seem to be boring until an artist’s makes a complex color scheme only using black and white
