Ekwurzel, Brenda. Global Warming Solutions. Climate Hot Map, Union Of Concerned Scientists, 1999, www.climatehopmap.org/global-warming-solutions/. Accessed 5 April 2017. There are many ways to solve the global warming change and they are to boost energy efficiency the power we use keep our houses warm in the winter time and to cool our houses off in the summertime and other places we use them are large reasons why global climate have been changing awkwardly from time to time. These energy efficiency technologies are the same or better in the energy saver department. It is very great for conserving energy and saving money, and it is easier to be done.
Then we could get green

This source is all about someone ideas who has studied the environment and how it is being affected by us and our harmful pollution. Then he gives us some ways to help reduce the amount of garbage we let into the air and into the water. Also he talks about the ways the environment changes to the global warming situation.
This source’s credibility is stable because this guy has been trying to spread the problems we are causing to the environment also he has factual information on how to reduce the destruction of the environment as well as resources to back up his findings. Another thing is that he spent about 8 years or so developing the solutions to the dilemma which is global warming.
The passages I am using from this source is that as the earth’s temperature rises day by day and there threats of global warming which are rising sea levels, loss of endangered animals, climate change and deadly storm events. We have already seen the causes of global warming. And the effects of global warming which is climate changes, melting of glaciers, droughts and diseases. Some solutions of global warming are using energy efficient products, going nuclear, phasing fossil fuels, switch gadgets when not in use, stop deforestation, use public transportations, Explore renewable sources, pushing tough standards, developing low carbon technologies, spreading the

Fundamentally, Bittman argues that climate change will not be magically solved. He assures to his audience that once we show we are willing to take action, it will be easier because more people will follow our steps. The author offers historical examples, logical reasoning and rationale as his evidence. His reference to World War II contributes to his goal of proving that his suggested projects can be done.…

James Haley. San Diego: Greenhaven press, 2002 Opposing Viewpoints in Context. Web.3 Aug.2015. Global climate changes, including episodes of global cooling and warming, have occurred many times throughout earth’s history as a result of natural variations in solar radiation, atmospheric chemistry, oceanic and atmospheric circulations, volcanic eruptions, and other factors. However, it’s primarily caused by human activities that started during the…

Climate change is a series of phonemes ranging from rising sea levels, shrinking mountain glaciers to global warming. In the past, the government of Canada developed plans to meet Kyoto targets, and the plan included mandatory emission reduction for factories and raise funds to invest in projections that could effectively reduce greenhouse gas emissions. However, the government of Cananda Canada’s current plan to reduce greenhouse gases is insufficient. The report from Environment Canada shows that Canada is failing to achieve even its 2020 targets(Pittis, 2015).…

It is largely the opinion of climate change experts that geoengineering solutions are not to be relied upon to fix the problems of climate change alone. However, geoengineers are planning ahead for a future where the world may be forced to take emergency measures to protect against the devastating effects of a much warmer planet. Some ideas are more radical, where others may be useful even today to support the global transition away from excess CO2 emission. Solar radiation management may be a last resort to give people slightly more time to fully integrate pollution free systems into society. However, atmospheric carbon dioxide removal can be more realistically implemented immediately.…

Fortunately, some advanced countries, such as France, the United States of America, United Kingdom, Japan, et al., have begun proposing solutions in order to reduce the amounts of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. For instance, the California and its neighboring states have suggested a Global Warming Solution Act of 2006 (Assembly Bill 32) and Senate Bill 1368…

Sea levels rising, global temperatures rising, ocean temperatures increasing, sheets of ice shrinking, ocean acidification, and glacial retreats are all compelling pieces of evidence that prove not only that climate change is a real thing but that we also need to act to try to reverse it before it is to late. “Most climate scientists agree the main cause of the current global warming trend is human expansion of the greenhouse effect,” which is the, “warming that results when the atmosphere traps heat radiating from Earth toward space. ”(“Global Climate Change”) Many gases we are releasing into the atmosphere such as water vapor, carbon dioxide, methane, nitrous oxide, and chlorofluorocarbons are all known as greenhouse gases,…

Ways to Prevent Global Warming Global Warming is a term used to describe an increase in average temperature of Earth’s surface, Atmosphere and oceans. Global warming is caused by greenhouse gases such as carbon dioxide emits into the atmosphere, also caused by burning of fossil fuel and deforestation. Average temperature around the world has increased by 0.75 Celsius. in past 100 years.…

Scientists are trying to work with different countries to reduce the effects of the global warming and they come up with some solutions and advice to avoid the significant impact of the temperature rising. One of their suggestion is to use sustainable energy such as wind, sunlight and water power as another source of energy rather than fossil oil which is one of the main causes of the global warming. They also recommend the factories use safe systems to reduce the emission of carbon dioxide to the atmosphere. Some counties and factories start to implement different methods to solve this problem like building hydroelectric dams and using solar cells technology to produce electricity and convert the waste to biogas. After…

Global warming, as one of the many facets of climate change is unequivocally the most pivotal climate, health, security and economic issue of the 21st century. The anthropogenic factors towards global warming are inextricable to the exponential increase in global mean temperature and its reciprocal effect on global climate systems (IPCC 2014; Keller et al. 2005; Rogelj et al. 2015a). Explicitly, international initiatives to maintain below a increase of 1.5˚C and far less than 2˚C above pre-industrial GMT levels needs to be implemented at government and industry levels of the energy-supply, private and within building/transport sectors. The plausible implementation of mitigation initiatives are explicit within contemporary society at local levels of agriculture (Fischer…
