A long time ago, Mongol leader Genghis Khan was born with a blood clot in his hand and that meant he was going to become a leader. After uniting all the tribes of the Mongolian steppes, he conquered large parts of central Asia and China. At their peak, the Mongols controlled between 11 and 12 million contiguous square miles, an area about the size of Africa. He was the first person to bind all of the nomadic tribes in the Mongolian steppes into one large army.

This shows Genghis Khan was a loyal and trustworthy man and wanted to have it back. He wanted skilled army generals instead inexperienced relatives. Doing this helped Genghis Khan stay ahead in his military. Genghis Khan had one purpose in life, and it and he never lost that focus. He was not distracted by a desire for possessions or wealth as he became more powerful. His one purpose in life was to see his enemies--those who had killed his father and left him and his family to starve in the winter brought to justice (Yusoontorn). This shows that Genghis Khan would never steal from his citizens or lie and had a reason for every attack that he planned and did. He always was trustworthy and that helped him build a loyal empire.
