In the book "Blood Brothers" Russell shows the difference between two young teenagers. one which is named "Mickey" and the other one who is name "Edwards". "Mickey" and "Edwards" are Twins that who have been separated. "Edward" is the twin who has been given away by "Mrs Johnstones."

Mickey is presented as a jealous teenager as he feels that he could have had a life like Edwards. A quotation backing up this point is "I could have bee him!". This shows that Mickey is jealous of the opportunities that Edwards has come across of. The word "been" is effective because Russell has used to make the audience feel sorry for Mickey.
