In your evaluation of whether or not the Affordable care act has been helpful was identified as a, “yes” and you stated, “the Affordable Healthcare Act closed the gap and gave somewhat equality in the healthcare system for many Americans”. I think it was interesting to find that we as Americans rely on institutions to fix our sicknesses and the majority of us don’t take self-responsibility for our own wellness, with me being one of those people. Self wellness is the first step to prevention of not being well or being sick. Medical doctors often treat the symptoms but not the disease. AN example of this would he high blood pressure which could be a symptom of a more severe underlying problem such as obesity or heart disease. They will give us blood pressure medicine, but no direction on how to become well.
