Failure happens to everybody at least once in their lifetime. It all matters how you deal with it, that could affect your future. I've been a part of the high school football team for my whole high school career. The sport has taught me many lessons and who I am today. There's been a lot of ups and downs in my career as a football player and many times I thought to just quit. I knew that I wasn't a quitter and I had to think of a way to make my football Career better. Through the last two years of football I have not been a starter and this made me question my abilities. Even though I showed up to everything and put forth my best effort and I still didn't play. I wondered if I was even good enough to be part of the team, and if the coaches just had favorites. I work all off season and went to every workout there was but at the start of the season I was very disappointed. I didn't end up getting the starting spot and I just wouldn't take no for an answer. During the season i showed up to practice with a great attitude and work ethic. Then the team was hit with some suspensions and guys were kicked of the team. I felt sorry for them and myself because it affected my senior season but I knew it was my chance to step up. During the second half of our sixth game I got my chance. I went in being confident of myself and knew my responsibilities. I stayed in my zone and kept my eyes where they're supposed to be. Then I saw the ball leave the quarterback's arm arm and it was coming right at me. I leaped up in the air and came down with the interception. I showed my coaches what I could do and are now in the starting rotation at corner. This was a big accomplishment for me and made my senior year everything I wanted it to be. My attitude of a positive thinking and only seeing myself get better at the position, helped me earn this. If you don't take o for an answer and put you mid to it then you can do
