I would also attempt to obtain the results of experimental research studies, if available. Qualitative research may be more difficult to obtain, either through grounded theory, which requires the researcher to come up with a theory based on the process, action or from the view of the participants, or ethnography, which requires the researcher to obtain data through the interviewing and observation of the group in a natural setting, over a prolonged period of time. I would also look at the use of narrative research, which would allow me to look at the life stories of those individuals affected by the use of opiates and subsequent availability of Narcan. Through the use of phenomenological research, I hope to obtain the opinions and perspective from several people who have experienced the effects of Narcan. If I am unable to personally interview these individuals, I will attempt to obtain information, opinions and details from opiate users, through the use of the internet, books, articles, as well as viewing videos, blogs, etc.…
