At the start of the ‘Testing Insulators’ experiment, the cotton insulation had the best starting temperature of 84°C, putting the newspaper and foam insulation in second with 82°C, while the can with no insulation material was put in last with the starting temperature of 81°C. In the duration of this experiment, the 2 worst insulators was the foam insulation starting from 81°C finishing with the temperature of 67°C, while the foam insulation started with 82°C and finishing with the temperature of 72°. At the end of this experiment, the newspaper insulating material was the best finishing with the temperature of 76°C having the cotton insulating material in second with the finishing temperature of 75°C.
